This small country of 5 million inhabitants is one of the richest in the world. Thanks to the petroleum found in the North Sea in the sixties, the Norwegian government has created a Petroleum Bank to ensure a healthy financial position for Norway and its future generations. 95% of the petrol money is put directly into this bank. As if that was not enough, the Norwegians also set up a seed-bank on the island of Svalbard. So in a bunker on this island the Norwegians store 450,000 copies of seeds of the whole world, just in case. So that we can all survive after a chaos. Here freedom reigns, even within the royal family. The crown prince Håkon of Norway married in 2001 with a commoner Mette-Marit. She was divorced then and her new husband became the father-in-law of her little Marius. Nature is as fabulous as the open-mindedness of the Norwegians is wide. In Norway, you can see the Northern Lights, go skiing, and climb the mountains. They also eat very well. In 2016 the restaurant Maaemo in Oslo received 3 stars in the red guide and will keep them further on in the 2017 edition.
